Military Surplus – Czech – 7.62X25 – 85 Grain – FMJ Ammo Review:

The history of this ammunition goes all the way back to WWI, where it began its entry into the firearms market. Massive amounts of this ammunition were made, widely used and exported by the Soviets, primarily for use in their pistols / sidearms, although variants were made for other purposes.

Muzzle velocities of this caliber ranges from 1,300 – 1,800 fps, with the average velocity coming-in at right around 1,450 fps. There are many firearms for which this caliber is well-suited, most common among those, is the Tokarev TT-33 pistol. Available at True Shot Gun Club online at cheap, discount prices!

This Military Surplus ammunition is inspected and shipped directly to the United States for safe use in your firearm(s). These lead-core bullets make ideal ammo for “plinking” metal targets or some range-day fun without worry of ricochets or other ammo concerns!

The box don’t look nice but you don’t shoot the box . no miss fires or jams .

If only that box could talk! 1960’s paper boxes! Thanks for the review and for your purchase – Kyle Read

I purchase 10 boxes (400) rounds. It came quickly and my first time out shot off 120 rounds with no misfires. Surprisingly the gun was not that dirty upon cleaning. I am happy with this Ammo.

  3. Shane Barnes (verified owner)

I got my order fairly quickly, but the ammunition was in rough shape. My latest order I only purchased two boxes but there was hay or straw in the package as well. The rounds were filthy and it smelled like a barnyard when I opened my box. that being said I only had one dud. there were also a couple tiny splits in the bottle neck of the casing on some rounds, but this did not present any issues. You may want to consider dusting these off before using them. 79 out of 80 fired

One of the best deals around! All four boxes are fantastic. 1951 7.62×25 on Stripper Clips the ammo was clean no corrosion or tarnish they looked like they just came from the factory. I should have bought more.

TrueShot has fantastic staff who are very responsive to the questions I asked. And the SHIPPING! I could not believe how fast the ammo got to me during this whole COVID-19 debacle. As a matter of fact, I ordered this ammo two weeks after I order some surplus from another will known Milsurpls vendor and Trueshot came in before theirs did. Won me over, I’ll be ordering from Trueshot again, on the waiting list for more of this ammo too.
